Major Tool Awarded Raytheon's Supplier Excellence Award For the Third Year in a Row   Rick Wiegand and Kevin Bowling accept the Supplier Excellence Award from Raytheon.  Major Tool and Machine, Inc. also received the award in 2007 and 2008. Major Tool's Chris Rothenberger awarded Safety Director of the year   Mike Salazar and Dale Hume award Chris Rothenberger with a plaque naming him Gregory & Appel's 2007 Safety Director of the Year. MAJOR TOOL & MACHINE RECEIVES OUTSTANDING VENDOR AWARD INDIANAPOLIS, IN; JULY 12, 2007: Major Tool and Machine, Inc. had the prestigious honor of accepting the 2007 Supplier of Excellence Award from Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems (IDS) on June 19, 2007 in Tewksbury, MA for recognition of exemplary performance in helping Raytheon to deliver NoDoubt™ Mission Assurance for our nation’s defense. President and CEO, J. Stephen Weyreter, along with Program Manager, Kevin Bowling, accepted the award on behalf of Major Tool and Machine. Major Tool receives Raytheon Integrated Defense System’s Certificate of Recognition   Major Tool and Machine was recognized for its outstanding performance on the Cobra Judy Replacement (CJR) program by Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems.  In addition, over 120 Certificates of Appreciation were presented by Raytheon on August 1, 2007 to Major Tool and Machine’s employees for their work on the Cobra Judy project.   Subcontractor Partnering Manager, Brian Desilets, awards Major Tool and Machine’s Nathan Hirschy with a Certificate of Appreciation for outstanding contribution to the Cobra Judy Replacement program. Major Tool receives the Outstanding 2005 Rocketdyne Supplier Excellence Award Steve Weyreter and Harley Sayre accept the outstanding 2005 Rocketdyne supplier excellence award from Buyer, Len Stoll. Major Tool and Machine, Inc. was awarded for their outstanding performance on the RS-68 Engine for the Delta IV Space Launch vehicle. Major Tool and Machine Inc. Receives Customer Award for Outstanding Performance Mike Trosen and Mike Waisner of Major Tool and Machine proudly accepted this plaque from Honeywell Federal Manufacturing & Technologies and Savannah River National Laboratory for outstanding performance during the manufacture and subsequent delivery of critical shipping containers for nuclear material. Major Tool Named Small Business of the Year at Oak Ridge National Laboratory Major Tool is proud to announce that it has been named Small Business Supplier of the Year at a special awards presentation at Oak Ridge National Laboratory on Feb 23, 2004. Major Tool has been pleased to participate on a number of significant projects at ORNL, the most notable being a supplier of major components for the Spallation Neutron Source (SNS). The SNS is a gigantic facility being built for neutron and atomic particle research at ORNL. During the award ceremony, officials from ORNL were quoted as saying,  “The performance and dedication shown by Major Tool and Machine has been extremely beneficial to ORNL, and their exceptional services continue to be highly sought-after commodity within our organization”.   A picture of one of the MTM supplied components is shown below.  Major Tool is a key supplier to many of the U.S. National Laboratories, such as Los Alamos, Lawrence Livermore, Sandia, etc.
