Across two event days, we’re welcoming students to experience the technology, meet the people, and discover the career paths powering modern manufacturing. From hands-on work to engineering and automation, there’s more to this industry than you might imagine.

Go behind the scenes. Take a guided, small-group tour of our nearly 700,000-square-foot advanced manufacturing campus.
Meet people doing the work. Talk with local manufacturers about their careers, the skills they use, and how they got started.
Get hands-on. Explore welding and machining through activities in our onsite training labs.
Discover your next step. Connect with higher-ed and training partners to learn about college, technical education, and pathways into the workforce.

Location: Major Tool & Machine
1458 E. 19th St., Indianapolis, IN 46218
School groups: Plan for approximately two hours, including a 30–45-minute guided tour and time to explore exhibitor booths and activities.
Parking: Bus and car parking are available onsite.
What to wear: Closed-toe shoes are required for the facility tour. We’ll provide other required personal protective equipment.
Lunch: Bringing a packed lunch? A designated space will be available for students to sit and eat. Lunch will not be provided.
